9/7/07 WMC Home v Randolph The varsity Wolfpack scored twice in the first three minutes, the first coming on a penalty kick from Evan Guarini and the second coming on a great shot from the right side by Mike Pytlar. Derek Donowick pushed it to 3-0 with a blast from the left side. As the half wound down, Pytlar put a direct kick in front of the net and Jonathan Stoll beat the goalie to the ball and headed it in for a 4-0 halftime lead. The JV dropped a tough loss. After taking a 1-0 lead early (Kavanaugh was knocked down in the penalty box and Capone hit the penalty kick), Randolph scored two goals to take the 2-1 win in a well played game. 9/10/07 WMC v Roxbury After falling behind 2-0 in the first half, the varsity squad battled back in the second half. They cut the lead in half when Jake Donowick put a ball in the middle. Kyle Kavanaugh headed it to Anthony Germinario who put it in the net. WMC came close in the as the game wound down. Tim Drzewinski just missed heading in a cross from Matt Bowers. Germinario chipped a shot off a long ball from Matt Goodyear just wide with minutes to go. The JV squad fell 6-2. Their first goal came when Jordan Hessels sent the ball up the right wing to Ryan Johnson who beat his defender and sent a nice cross to the middle where Troy Hebert drove it past the goalie for the score. The second goal came when Sean Lynch made a nice move and then sent a beautiful switch across the field to a streaking Andrew Monaco who gathered it in and made a nice finesse shot over the goalie's head. 9/15/07 WMC v Mt Olive: The varsity squad took a 2-0 victory. The first goal game when Matt Gelsinger was taken down in the box on a breakaway. Michael Pytlar buried the penalty kick for a 1-0 lead. In the second half, the Wolfpack got some breathing room when Matt Goodyear sent a long ball up the right side. Gelsinger crossed it into the middle and Pytlar got his second goal of the game to give WMC a 2-0 lead. JV won their game 6-0 on goals by Jordan Hessels, Capone, Omar, Mark Spratley and Connor Harris. The freshman squad dropped a 3-1 loss with their goal coming from Bobby Diaz. 9/18/07 WMC Home v Livingston The varsity squad dropped a tough 3-2 overtime decision. After trailing 2-0 at halftime, the Wolfpack exploded for 2 goals in the first minutes of the second half. The first came when Evan Guarini centered the ball to Mike Pytlar for a goal. The second was set up by Anthony Germinario and scored by Tim Drzewinski, his first goal as a varsity player. Livingston grabbed the win in the first golden goal OT period. JV lost 6-0 and the freshman squad lost 1-0. 9/20/07 WMC Home v Morris Knolls. The varsity squad lost 2-0 while the JV squad lost 1-0. 9/24/07 WMC Away v Seton Hall Prep The varsity squad fell 3-0 while the JV squad lost 4-0 and the freshman squad lost 5-0. 10/2/07 The Varsity squad won a 2-1 thriller over Morristown. The wolfpack struck early when Anthony Germinario put a ball in front of the net and Matt Gelsinger put it in off his chest for a 1-0 lead. Morristown struck back with a goal with minutes left in the first half. WMC got the game winner when Matt Bowers threw it in to Jake Donowick, who headed it to Kyle Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh used his chest to put it in for the 2-1 win. 10/4/07 The Wolfpack toppled Randolph 2-1. In his first game back from injury, Evan Guarini gave the Wolfpack a 1-0 off a feed from Mike Pytlar. Luke Milik scored what would be the game winning goal off a feed from Kyle Kavanaugh. Click here for pictures. JV fell 3-0. 10/7/07 The Wolfpack varsity squad fell 4-1 in the Morris County Tournament with the loan goal coming from Mike Pytlar.
