A soccer camp aimed to serve the youth community of Long Valley and Washington Twp. The camp is open to 4th through 8th graders of all levels and abilities. Incoming freshmen are also welcome to attend! Camp Philosphy This camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of successful individual and team play. Players will learn numerous techniques to improve their dribbling, passing, control, heading and shooting skills. They will then utilize these skills to improve team play. All participants will learn the fundamentals of individual and team defense. Additionally, all players will learn the fundamentals of individual and team attack, particularly how to counter attack, create and sustain consistent successful attacks. All learned skills will then be applied in game settings. Goalkeeper training will be available during both weeks. Camp Staff Girls Week Ken Rossi (Director) - Current Head Girls Soccer Coach at West Morris Central HS; Current Head Wrestling Coach at West Morris Central High School. Former Head Wrestling Coach at Jefferson HS. Collegiate Athlete; 3 time NCAA Academic All-American. Chris Marold - Current Assistant GirlsSoccer Coach at West Morris Central HS. Noel Bolmer - Current player at Salisbury University. Former player at West Morris Cetnral HS & past camp instructor. Goalkeeper Training James Daly - Former Goalkeeper at West Morris Central HS & past camp instructor. 1st Team All Iron-Hills Conference 2006; 1st Team Morris County Coaches Association All County 2006; 2nd Team Star Ledger All Morris County 2006; 3rd Team Soccer Coaches Association of New Jersey Group III 2006. Camp Staff subject to change. Camp Information Dates: Girls Week 7/28/08 - 8/1/08 5:00 - 8:00pm Boys Week 8/4/08 - 8/8/08 5:00 - 8:00pm Location: West Morris Central High School Cost: $150 pp (includes clinic, camp t-shirt, equipment) All players must wear proper shoes and shin guards to participate.
